ABOUT ME
I’m an Editor and Director born in the border town of Cd. Juárez, México, and currently based in Austin, TX.
I spent my early years between Cd. Juárez and El Paso, TX. Living in Mexico and studying in the US gave me a better understanding of how both cultures work and coexist.
I started my directing and editing career while living in the border, editing commercials, branded content and music videos in Mexico and the US. Then I decided to pursue the life of an advertising agency creative as a writer. For over 7 years I worked for agencies in New York, Dallas and Los Angeles.
During my time as an agency creative, I used any spare time I had to keep editing and directing projects on the side, including several music videos for the Mexican band PXNDX, recipient of the 2017 MTV Millennial Awards Band of the Year. My music videos have earned more than 190 million hits on YouTube.
After my stint as a writer, I decided I missed production and post-production too much, so I went back to being a full time Editor/Director. I have worked for brands like McDonald’s, PepsiCo, Tecate, CDC, Honda, MetroPCS, Bimbo, Cricket Wireless, Coca-Cola, AutoZone, Sprint, Huawei, Sling/Dish, Boost Mobile and many more.
I have been playing in bands since I was 15 years old and was nominated for an MTV Video Music Award in 2013. Currently I’m the lead singer and songwriter of the band Hey Besala.
